About Card Pilled
Card Pilled is an independent comparison site for crypto-linked debit and credit cards. We track cashback tiers, fees, regional availability, KYC requirements, and card networks for every major crypto card worldwide.
What we do
We maintain a continuously-verified database of 122+ active crypto cards across the US, Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and global markets. Each card entry includes exact cashback rates, tier requirements (including any staking or token-lockup conditions), fee breakdowns, and regulatory context.
Editorial independence
We do not accept affiliate payments, sponsorships, or any compensation that influences rankings. Every comparison and recommendation is based on objective card data. External links go to official provider pages, never to affiliate tracking URLs.
Methodology
Card data is verified weekly using automated scraping of provider sites combined with manual review. Every card carries a lastVerified date so you know when its data was last confirmed. Monthly deep reviews catch tier restructures, regional availability changes, rebrands, and quiet shutdowns.
News and analysis are written by the Card Pilled editorial team. Weekly wraps cover launches, rate changes, shutdowns, and regulatory developments.
How we review cards
Every card review on Card Pilled follows the same editorial review process before publication and on every update:
- Source verification. Cashback rates, tier requirements, and fees are pulled directly from the provider's official card page or terms document, never from third-party listicles.
- Cross-checking. Regional availability and KYC requirements are confirmed against the provider's regulatory disclosures and current onboarding flow.
- Structured diff review. Each weekly scrape produces a structured change report that an editor reviews against the live card record before changes are merged.
- Date stamping. Every reviewed card has its
lastVerified date updated, surfaced as the "Last verified" line in the byline on each card review.
- Editorial sign-off. Material changes (status flips, tier restructures, region withdrawals) require a second editor pass before the change ships to production.
Data sources
- Official provider websites (primary source for rates, fees, regional availability)
- Official provider documentation and card terms pages
- Regulatory filings and public enforcement actions
- Reputable crypto news outlets for launch and shutdown signals
Editorial standards
- Accuracy. Every rate, fee, and regional availability claim is verifiable against a primary source (provider terms or regulatory filing). If a claim cannot be sourced, it is removed or flagged.
- No affiliate links. External links point at the provider's official card page, never an affiliate or referral redirect. We accept no compensation that influences rankings.
- Update cadence. Active cards are reviewed at least monthly. Provider-side changes (rate cuts, fee increases, regional restrictions, shutdowns) are reflected as soon as we can confirm them.
- Correction policy. Errors are corrected as soon as they are flagged. Material corrections trigger an updated
lastVerified date on the affected card and, where appropriate, a note in the next weekly wrap.
- YMYL disclaimers. Crypto cards touch tax, regulation, and consumer protection. Pages discussing tax treatment, KYC/regulatory requirements, or rate-bearing claims carry contextual disclaimers reminding readers to verify with a qualified professional or the provider before acting.
- Conflict disclosure. If we ever accept any form of compensation, sponsorship, or partnership, it will be disclosed prominently on the affected page and in this section.
Editorial team
Card Pilled is researched, written, and edited by the Card Pilled Editorial team. The team's combined background covers payments, fintech product, and crypto markets. Every card review is signed off as "Reviewed by Card Pilled Editorial" with a verified date so readers can see how recent the data is.
Articles and guides are bylined where appropriate. For questions about methodology, to suggest a correction, or to flag a card we should add, see the contact section below.
