Flagged by: A Curitiba court ordered OnilX's assets frozen on 19 August 2026, executed on 24 August, seeking R$1,869,715.82. Searches across Bradesco, Itau, Banco Paulista, Pinbank, Microcash and other institutions returned zero balances. OnilX announced a change of business model on the same day the order issued. Customers report withdrawal delays exceeding 30 days, including a 5,000 USDT request from 24 July still unreleased on 18 August, alongside 48 active complaints on Reclame Aqui. This follows a CVM stop order in January 2026. Treat any balance held here as at material risk. Sources: [1] [2] [3]

Cost & Returns

On $500/mo spend, the estimated monthly cost breakdown for OnilX Crypto Card is: gas $0.00, conversion spread $7.50, flat/FX fees $0.00, and amortised card/tier fee $0.00, for a total drag of 1.5% of spend. After $0.00/mo cashback that is still a net cost of about $7.50/mo ($90.00/yr). OnilX Crypto Card tops up from a centralized balance, so there is no on-chain gas cost regardless of how often you reload. Figures are conservative estimates and vary with conditions.

Note: Mastercard from OnilX, a Brazilian exchange founded in 2020. Requires an OnilX Bank account. Cardholders convert their BRL balance to USDT and spend it, with conversion back to reais settling inside the user's own account at the moment of purchase, so merchants never handle crypto. Opened to OnilX clients in the app first, then to the general public from late October 2025. OnilX has not published a fee schedule, spending limits, issuance costs or a rewards programme for this card. REGULATORY AND SOLVENCY WARNING: Brazil's securities regulator CVM issued a stop order against the Onil/OnilX group in January 2026 over the unregistered public offering of securities intermediation services, and on April 1, 2026 its board adjusted the order's terms to clarify that it does not reach the group's crypto-asset intermediation activities. Separately, a court ordered the freezing of Onil assets, and Brazilian outlets have reported customers waiting more than 30 days for withdrawals, alongside a spike in non-payment complaints on Reclame Aqui. The card itself has not been announced as discontinued, so it is recorded as active, but the counterparty risk is material. STATUS FLAG (2026-09-13): the card's own page at onilx.com.br/cryptocard-onilx/ now returns HTTP 404, although the homepage still links to it, and Livecoins reported on 9 September 2026 that OnilX has ceased operating in Brazil, citing more than 470 Reclame Aqui complaints, missed withdrawal deadlines, staff departures and closed offices. That claim is attributed to one independent columnist, Vitor Miziara, and OnilX has issued no statement of its own, so the status is left active rather than flipped to discontinued: this routine requires multiple sources for a discontinuation, and an outlet quoting a commentator is not a company announcement. A human should decide the reclassification. Anyone comparing this card should treat it as unobtainable in practice.
