Cost & Returns

On $500/mo spend, the estimated monthly cost breakdown for ARQ Card is: gas $0.00, conversion spread $7.50, flat transaction fees $0.00, and amortised card/tier fee $0.00, for a total drag of 1.5% of spend. After $0.00/mo cashback that is still a net cost of about $7.50/mo ($90.00/yr). ARQ Card tops up from a centralized balance, so there is no on-chain gas cost regardless of how often you reload. Figures are conservative estimates and vary with conditions.

Note: Mastercard spent from a USDC (or EURC) balance: ARQ states that all incoming payments convert automatically to USDC or EURC. ARQ calls the ARQCard a secured credit card whose limit is set by the USDC balance, with no interest or accumulated debt, so it behaves like a debit card and is recorded as one here. Premium and Prestige members can also draw a separate portfolio-secured credit line of up to $100,000 USDC (Prestige financing 0.7% a month on USDC and EURC, 0.8% in Brazil). CASHBACK (help centre, read 2026-10-04): Premium 1% and Prestige 2% on the first $500 USDC of card spend each month, 0.5% above; applies to all card payments including international since 10 February 2026; ATM withdrawals and the Finance and Investments category are excluded. Prestige is $199.99 a year and annual only, except in Brazil where it is $19.99 a month with 50% of the fee returned at 2,000 USDC of monthly card spend and 100% at 4,000. FEES (Mexico Standard plan, help centre): virtual card free; physical card shipping $4.99, and the first physical card is free with more than $100 in the main balance or a Premium plan; 3 USDC per deposit from USD, crypto or (3 EURC) EUR accounts; 1% on ATM withdrawals; 5% on purchases charged in Argentine pesos. ARQ says the card has no hidden costs, annual fee or minimum spend. VERIFICATION GAPS: no FX fee for currencies other than USD and ARS is published, no BIN sponsor bank is named, and only a monthly Premium price is published.
