| Tier | Rate | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Subscriptions | 3% | Monthly-billed subscription plans at whitelisted merchants such as Amazon Prime and Uber One. One qualifying charge per merchant per calendar month; App Store billing is excluded |
| Online | 2% | Card-not-present purchases. Capped at $10 per merchant per month on a curated merchant list, plus a shared $10 per month across other approved merchant categories |
| Travel | 1% | Travel purchases, capped at $20 of cashback per month and computed on the first $2,000 of each transaction |
On $500/mo spend, the estimated monthly cost breakdown for Cashi Card is: gas $0.50, conversion spread $0.00, flat/FX fees $0.00, and amortised card/tier fee $0.00, for a total drag of 0.1% of spend. After $15.00/mo cashback that nets a gain of about $14.50/mo ($174.00/yr). Because Cashi Card is loaded on-chain, frequent small top-ups add gas cost: a daily-spender profile pays about $10.00/mo in gas versus $0.50/mo for a single monthly load, so total drag runs 2% with daily reloads versus 0.1% with a monthly reload. Figures are conservative estimates and vary with conditions.
Note: A virtual USD Visa funded only by stablecoin deposit, launched in public beta on 11 August 2026 with a full launch stated for later in the year. There are no fiat rails: Cashi states it does not itself convert fiat currency. Cashback is paid as non-withdrawable Spending Credit which never expires but can be clawed back. Physical cards are described as coming in the future. The virtual card cannot be used at ATMs. Daily spend is user-configurable in the app up to $50,000, and no monthly cap is published. Cashi-to-Cashi transfers are instant and free, and deposits carry no Cashi fee beyond the blockchain network fee. VERIFICATION GAP (2026-08-27): Cashi publishes no country list, stating only that the card reaches over 100 countries and directing users to check eligibility in the app, so regional availability cannot be recorded specifically. The card issuer is not named in any public document; the terms refer only to a card issuing partner. Reap is named as the programme partner in the launch announcement. Note that third-party coverage naming Thredd as the processor is not corroborated anywhere on Cashi's own site, and a country list circulating from the homepage is a decorative flag animation rather than a statement of availability.
