| Tier | Rate | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 1% | Free forever. 1% cashback and 1% on airline bookings, capped at $10 of rewards per month, then Standard rate continues. Note stack.one separately advertises a flat 1.5% with no tiers, which conflicts with the Hawala membership page |
| Gold | 2% | $100/year. 2% cashback and 3% on airline bookings, capped at $40 of rewards per month |
| Platinum | 3% | $1,000/year. 3% cashback and 5% on airline bookings, capped at $150 of rewards per month |
Stack advertises 'real' US dollar and euro account details in the user's own name, described on its Egypt guide as usable for ACH, wire, and SEPA payments from clients and platforms such as Upwork and Fiverr, which confirms third-party inbound. The IBAN's issuing country is not published, and outbound SEPA to arbitrary third parties is not documented separately from the app's remittance payout rails.

On $500/mo spend, the estimated monthly cost breakdown for Stack Card is: gas $0.00, conversion spread $7.50, flat/FX fees $0.00, and amortised card/tier fee $0.00, for a total drag of 1.5% of spend. After $5.00/mo cashback that is still a net cost of about $2.50/mo ($30.00/yr). Stack Card tops up from a centralized balance, so there is no on-chain gas cost regardless of how often you reload. Figures are conservative estimates and vary with conditions.
Note: Rebrand in progress: the same product is served as 'Stack' at stack.one and as 'Hawala' at usehawala.com, and stack.one's canonical tag still points to usehawala.com. Both app stores still list it as 'Hawala - Global USD Account' as of 2026-08-09, so app-store searches need the old name. Virtual card only today: Stack's own FAQ says the card 'lives in the app' via Apple Pay and Google Pay, with a physical card and ATM access 'coming soon', so the Visa ATM access described in press coverage is not yet live. Balances are held as dollar stablecoins with what Stack calls regulated, audited partners, named on its Egypt comparison page as USDC, USDT, PYUSD, and EURC; no partner, custodian, or card issuer is named anywhere in the terms, which say only that cards and custody are 'provided by licensed partners'. Funding is fiat-rails only in all public documentation (ACH, wire, SEPA into USD/EUR account details): no crypto deposit or withdrawal is documented, so the stablecoin layer is backing rather than a user-facing crypto feature. Country coverage is inconsistent across the company's own sources: Google Play says Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, US, UK, Europe and 35+ countries, the App Store says Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Egypt, Kenya and 100+ more, and its funding announcement claims users in more than 200 countries; the conservative 35+ figure is recorded here. No ATM, FX, or conversion fee schedule is published beyond 'no monthly fees and no hidden charges on dollar spending'. Rewards pay out as points at 100 points to $1. Membership is annual, does not auto-renew and is non-refundable, and the airline rate applies only to flights bought directly from airlines. Past the monthly cap, earning continues at the Standard 1% rate until the month resets. The operative property is usehawala.com, which holds the legal pages, newsroom, membership page and Arabic localisation; stack.one is a thinner marketing shell.
